Looking for a BracketHQ alternative? LeagueSpawn generates single elimination, double elimination, round robin and Swiss brackets for 2–128 entrants, free and without an account — and adds team logos, live score tracking, PNG and CSV export, Discord publishing and shareable links that need no database.
Where LeagueSpawn goes further
BracketHQ does the core job well: it is fast, free and needs no signup. If all you need is a printable empty bracket, it is a perfectly good tool. LeagueSpawn is aimed at the step after that — actually running the event:
- Team logos. Upload a logo per team, or get an automatic coloured initials badge. Logos are baked into PNG exports.
- Live score tracking. Type scores into each match; winners advance with one click and the tree updates instantly.
- Swiss with Buchholz. Proper score-group pairing with rematch avoidance and automatic Buchholz tiebreaks.
- Round robin standings. A full league table with wins, losses and score difference, exported alongside the fixtures.
- CSV / Excel export. Matches, standings and seeds as a spreadsheet, not just an image.
- Discord publishing. Push formatted results into a channel with a webhook.
- Shareable links and embedding. Send a URL that encodes the whole tournament, or embed the live tool on your own site.

Which is better for a printable blank bracket?
Either works. If you only need an empty tree to print and fill in by hand, both do that in seconds. LeagueSpawn is the better choice when you also want to record results, add logos, or share a live link.
Does LeagueSpawn handle odd numbers of teams?
Yes. Any entrant count from 2 to 128 produces a valid bracket. The field is expanded to the next power of two and BYEs go to the highest seeds first — the same convention ESL, FACEIT and Battlefy use.
Can I run a Swiss stage and then a playoff bracket?
Yes, in two steps: run the Swiss stage, export or note the standings, then create a new single or double elimination bracket seeded from the top finishers.
